Chez les femmes, les Françaises à la 2e place et les Suissesses à la 3e complètent le podium. Chez les hommes, le classement s’inverse, l’argent allant aux Suisses et le bronze aux Français. La course relais des Championnats d’Europe de ski de montagne a rassemblé à Avoriaz 105 athlètes représentant 15 nations différentes. Ce sport se développe de plus en plus en compétition, c’est la première fois qu’un relais en Championnats d’Europe réunit autant de pays sur la ligne de départ. Intense, dynamique, rythmé, le parcours a séduit les participants, sans cesse confronté à leurs concurrents. Les coureurs ont pu tester leur endurance, leur technicité et leur résistance au stress.

Start SeniorStart SeniorItaly won today two gold medal more on the senior male and female relays. The youth relays was for Spain. Few public assisted to this spectacular and very well organised race.

The itinerary consisted on a lap of around 120-130m with a walking part (skis on the back), a new add to relays races. From the arrival line the public could see 90% of the itinerary and follow the race with the perfect animation of our known speaker Silvano.

Senior Male Relays have closed today competitions. Italy has obtained it's second gold medal of the day. Switzerland has been second and France has finished third.
Man's fastest tour: Dennis Brunod (IT) - 16:22

Female Senior relays have ended with Italy in first place followed by France and Switzerland. Woman's fastest tour: Laetitia Roux (FR) - 19:09

In the first relay race of today Spain has won the Youth European Championship in front of France and the Czech Republic.

The European Championships are moving tomorrow to Avoriaz to celebrate the relays race. For the first time the relays will be celebrated on the afternoon to atract more public. 15 male teams, 7 female teams and 8 youth teams will take part. The event will begin at 15h30 with the youth relays.
